We established Valleymount foods in 1984 supplying fresh eggs to the multiples and quickly growing a retail supply business. This led to opening our first cold store in Walkinstown the following year. In 1996 we spotted a niche in the market to supply quality products to independent distributors, and sold our retail supply business so that we wouldn't compete with our network. Our business ethos is simple, we won't sell into our customers customer! In 2003 we opened a purpose build 8000 square feet cold store in Tallaght from where we traded for 7 years, supplying distributors nationwide with quality food products. Then the 7 year itch got hold (actually we needed more space!!) and we moved to our present location in Naas, Co. Kildare. Oh.. the joys of easy parking! We buy in bulk so we can pass the saving on to you.

Valleymount was the first company in Ireland to supply a cooked rasher! (We're quite proud of that) We are the only fully Independent Irish owned company of our kind, and are  interested solely in supporting our network of independent distributors...we supply recognised branded products that are not retailed through any other channel.

Our distribution fleet operates daily, and all the products we supply are manufactured to our own specification. Take Romi, we are the sole supplier of Romi products in Ireland. Their spread has the highest butter content on the Irish market...because we specified the butter content!

Quality Control

Our Coldstore is continually temperature monitored and we do not use outsourced delivery, preferring to ensure that the product environment is under our control at all times. Valleymount is fully Department of Agriculture, Marine and HACCP compliant.
